Schiller's main
campus, located in the Tampa Bay area on Florida's
beautiful Gulf Coast, offers students from around the world the
authentic American college experience in a breathtaking tropical
atmosphere.
Schiller's Florida campus is a modern facility including a library
and computer lab. Wireless internet is available throughout the
campus. Nearby apartment housing offers student accommodation, and
stores, supermarkets, and numerous restaurants are within walking
distance. Convenient public transportation stops are located
adjacent to the campus, so you are always just a short ride from a
shopping mall, theme park, or amazing day at the beach.
City
Life
Situated on a
peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and historic Tampa Bay, the
Florida campus is a paradise for students wishing to mix studies
with relaxing times at pristine beaches. The abundance of water
keeps the weather mild and students enjoy outdoor activities
year-round. On the bay, students are exposed to a variety of marine
wildlife, as manatees and dolphins are daily sights. The gulf coast
offers swimming, diving, and sunning at some of Florida's most
famous beaches such as, Indian Rocks, Sand Key and Clearwater
Beach.
The Tampa Bay area's beauty is only rivaled by its own rich
history. The area is home to Fort De Soto park, a collection of
five 'keys' or islands with historic fortifications dating back to
the American Civil War. Travel back in time at Tampa's Gasparilla
celebration where an authentic pirate ship sails just offshore in
memory of the city's pirate past. If you enjoy museums, you will
find the Salvador Dali Museum and the Gulf Coast Museum of Art and
Heritage Village nearby.
Venture further east and you'll soon see why Florida is at the
forefront of the global tourism industry - from the stunning flora
and fauna to the largest and most visited recreational resort on
the planet at Walt Disney World. Continue past Orlando and you'll
also be able to explore the high-tech coast around Cape Canaveral
and the Kennedy Space Center.

Life
With
a bus stop at our campus on East Bay, and bus lines which run from
downtown Clearwater to downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa,
students can reach destinations within the Tampa Bay
area. It also provides students with easy connections to
the airports, Tampa International Airport (TBA) and St Petersburg
International/Clearwater Airport (PIE).
